Mahaphant Group enters into solid wall market
Mahaphant Group, the manufacturer and distributor of Ha Huang Light Weight Roof product and fiber cement SHERA, has launched its latest innovative SHERA Infillwall.
According to Mr. Ongek Taechamahaphant, Executive Director of Mahaphant Group, it was the first time for the group to introduce the latest innovative SHERA Infillwall to the solid wall market, which will replace traditional masonry wall and precast concrete wall.
SHERA Infillwall has been jointly working out with the group’s business alliance, which has expertise in wall construction from Thailand and wall experts from Taiwan, for over five years. The new wall system, SHERA Infillwall, mainly consists of SHERA board fixed to SHERA frame and the core filled-in lightweight concrete without pulling out the SHERA board which will be used as permanent formwork as well as wall skin surface encouraging the developers do not need to render the wall. Moreover, hair crack problem resulted from unskillful worker is eliminated.
Under the SHERA Infillwall system, the installation of fast-track construction is 30% faster than masonry work with fewer laborers required and helps the projects save construction time. Unlike concrete and brick wall, SHERA Infillwall will not collapse suddenly when fire and earthquake occur due to its component of light weight large panel.
He said the innovative product launching was to confirm the group’s leadership reputation in construction material business. SHERA Infillwall is the further step innovation of the group after the group was the first company to introduce fiber cement SHERA board and SHERA wood to the market. “I will stress that we will keep our leadership reputation by developing one step ahead our competitors.”
Meanwhile, Mr. Veerasak Kittinanthakool, Senior Manager for Board Group, said the group was first introducing SHERA Infillwall at Architect 2009 (ASA 2009) and the group had gained interests from the developers as well as contractors. Now, SHERA Infillwall is installed in many projects, including Diamond Ratchada, Sense Sukhumvit, TW Condo Wong Amart, The Oracle and Resort Baan Mok Hom Mai.
He said the group eyed high raised building projects as its initial target with an expected sales volume at 150 million baht in the first year.
Mr. Veerasak said Mahaphant Group also introduced SHERA Infillwall to other countries by joining with construction material exhibitions, including Saudi Build 2009 in Saudi Arabia between 4 – 7 October and ACE 2009 At Mumbai, India during 5 – 8 November. The group will continue to join other exhibitions in 3 major cities of India, including Bangalore, Pune and Delhi, as well as Big 5 in Dubai of UAE.
Mr. Veerasak mentioned the marketing strategy that in the initial stage, the group would focus on the project owners, designers and contractors and the group also set up an installation training center, located at its factory’s facility, for the interested contactors.
“We have paid a lot of attention to SHERA Infillwall and we believe the market need to be educated about our innovation. So we have introduced our website www.SHERAinfillwall.com to update the new local and abroad construction sites to assure our potential customers,” said Mr. Veerasak.
